ScélaHommage à Máol MílscothachCatalogue of medieval Irish narratives & literary enumerations |
This list of the medieval titles of Irish narratives, récits and metrical poems was initially based on d’Arbois de Jubainville’s Essai d’un catalogue de la littérature épique de l’Irlande and Proinsias Mac Cana’s Learned Tales. Dozens of other resources are gradually being added. Randomly, various titles of proto-legal, pseudo-historical, historiographical and hagiographical texts and other not exactly “narrative” pieces are also included for comparative purposes.
